We visited this week London Borough of Hackney to explore some of its qualities and the liveability of its public spaces and neighbourhoods.
Hackney has many qualities and potentials that qualify the borough to become a very desirable living area and an attractive location for pilot businesses. The borough is very close to the centre of London, well connected and offers
green environments and fresh air. It has a mass of historical buildings that conveys charming environments and a feeling of anchorage.
Meanwhile, the Council needs to overcome some challenges and barriers to enable the borough to live up to these potentials. One of these challenges is to encourage connectivity among the different borough areas and liveability.
