Community Action and Climate Debate in Westminster 15 October 2022

Dr Roudaina was honoured to be invited by Citizens UK and Westminster Citizens last Saturday 15 October to participate in an insightful debate on the urgency of climate change and managing just energy transitions. Roudaina animated the meeting with young people 'Young people Envisioning a different future’

The participants looked into how technology, knowledge, institutions and community action can provide practical steps towards better futures.

The debate gathered citizens, political leads, local church groups, education and other actors around climate urgency and social justice and emphasised the importance of demonstrating the shared benefit that would result of collaborative action and increased communication.
