PA to the Director
I joined Platforms in June 2016 to help out in the office. I have completed a BTEC in Art and Design Diploma Level 3 with Distinction/Merit at St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College in London.
I have always been interested in creating something new and finding new meanings and uses of objects other people might not pay attention to. I like very much developing technological ideas and concepts that have relevance to people.
While living in Denmark, I participated in the Engineering School's workshop on Robots and designed objects that can help the elderly in their everyday life. Two years ago in London, I was awarded an Honourable Mention by NASA for my concept The Dee Settlement 2 submitted to the 2015 Space Settlement Design Contest sponsored by NASA Ames Research Center. My space settlement focuses on a sustainable, self- sufficient and healthy life in space for one million inhabitants and is expandable to accommodate millions of inhabitants - if needed!
I also participated in the Royal Institute of British Architects' architectural workshop for young people in 2014 and was very happy to support a team in the University of Westminster FAB fest as part of the London Festival of Architecture. Recently I completed a Glass-making workshop at the Art Academy in London, which was greatly inspiring.
I have participated in the design of Platforms' website and look forward to more work in the practice.
